Laura and I are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with DAW Books to develop and write a new fantasy trilogy in 2012! It is tentatively titled ‘Knights of the Red Band’ and is set a unique world vastly different than we have contemplated before. It centers around a young warrior who had been raised on the tales and legends of the Knights of the Red Band and had dreamed of becoming one of them … but when an ancient enemy threatens his homeland and he is called to become one of the knighthood, he discovers that there is a darker side to valor and legend.
Laura and I will begin work on this series in the spring of 2012 and anticipate completing our draft of the first novel by later that same summer. This series is anticipated to be on a shorter writing schedule than our previous books — getting the complete series in your hands in a short period of time.
